Code of conduct o ski trails

Be courteous with other skiers
Each skier must behave in such a way that they do not endanger or cause damage to others.

Control of speed and manner of skiing
Each skier must be in control of the situation in front of them. They must adapt the speed to their skills and possibilities, terrain, snow conditions as well as to the density of skiers on the trail.

Choosing route of skiing
The skier coming from behind must choose the route of skiing in order they do not endanger skier in front of them. The skier in front of you always has the right of way. Each skier skiing behind another skier must ensure sufficient distance in order to leave the skier in front of them enough space for the route and manner of skiing.

Overtaking
You may overtake to the right and to left in order the overtaken skier is left enough space for the route and manner of skiing.

Entering the trail and starting after stopping
Each skier entering the ski trail or who wants to continue skiing after stopping must make sure no other skier is approaching from above or below in order not to endanger themselves and others as well.

Stopping and staying
Unless necessary, the skier must not stop or stay on narrow and enclosed parts of the ski trail. After a fall the skier must clear of the place as soon as possible.

The way up and down
The skier going up or down the ski trail must use the edge of the trail.

Respect for signs
Each skier must follow signs and signals on ski trails.

Providing assistance
After an accident on the ski trail each skier must provide assistance and notify the responsible person of the accident (Mountain Rescue Service, Ski Service, operator of personal cableway transport facilities, public administration bodies, and the like)

Proving identity
In case of accident on the ski trail each party to the accident must prove their identity to the Mountain Rescue Service, Ski Service or public administration body.
